Al Qaeda-linked militants killed by drone strike in Yemen
SANAA (Reuters) – At least three suspected al Qaeda militants have been killed by a drone strike in central Yemen, tribal sources and the Defense Ministry said on Sunday. Yemeni officials will not comment on who exactly carries out such drone attacks or on whose orders, but President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi spoken openly in favor of the strikes during a trip to the United States in September. Franklin steers New Zealand to unexpected win
PAARL (Reuters) – A superb rear-guard knock of 47 not out from James Franklin helped New Zealand pull off an improbable one-wicket victory against South Africa in the first one-day international on Saturday. New Zealand, who elected to field first, bowled out South Africa for 208 on a slow pitch after debutant Mitchell McClenaghan and off-spinner Kane Williamson stifled the hosts by taking four wickets apiece.
